A Santa Barbara institution since 1989, Santa Barbara Roasting Company (RoCo) brings micro‑batch roasting into your cup via thoughtfully sourced beans and skilled roasting. Roasters work in small 50‑lb batches to preserve flavor and use air cooling to avoid dilution—resulting in smooth, well‑balanced coffee every time. The café is relaxed and inviting, with indoor and outdoor seating where locals gather over espresso, pour‑overs, muffins, or bagels. It’s the kind of place where the barista chats with you by name after one visit. 

Handlebar is a local favorite with two Santa Barbara locations, both known for smooth espresso, fresh pastries, and a friendly crowd. It's a cyclist-owned café, so don’t be surprised to see bikes parked out front and a buzz of early risers grabbing a cup before hitting the road or trail!
